The vessel will be berthed on either of the two jetty.
The marker on the map (Refinery jetty) is the entry/exit of the terminal.
It is guarded by the security personnel but not 24*7. Once you are berthed, they will give a list of the timing when the post will be manned.
For going ashore, you have to be at the post on the given window (generally half an hour) while it is still manned.
You have to walk till there, show your Passport copy.
There is a Seaman Club "Mission to Seafarers" nearby. You can ask the security to call them.
The pickup/drop is free of charge till the club. In case you want to visit the city, they can pickup/drop you in their van. Hence it is advisable to go in a group.
Most likely, the guy will drop you at Westfield Mall.
And in case you have a full day to
roam(no 6 on 6 of watch), it is
highly recommended to visit
Melbourne.
There is a train station "North
Shore" at 5 minutes of walking
distance from the seaman club.
Ask the guy at the seaman club,
he will give you a card which you
can use to board the train.
